Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Youth Basketball Coach and inspire young athletes to develop their skills, teamwork, and love for the game! This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to lead youth basketball teams, and foster positive sportsmanship. This position is ideal for former athletes, college students, or an individual with coaching experience. As a vital part of our community-focused sports program, you will create engaging, safe, and inclusive environments where children can thrive both on and off the court. Your energy, leadership, and coaching expertise will help shape confident, motivated young players ready to excel! Duties Lead team practices, drills, and games with enthusiasm while emphasizing sportsmanship and teamwork Provide clear instructions on basketball techniques, rules, and strategies to enhance player development Monitor player behavior and implement effective behavior management strategies to maintain a positive environment Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding player progress, upcoming events, and program updates Qualifications Prior experience working with children in sports or educational settings is highly preferred Strong background in basketball coaching or playing at a competitive level.
