Responsibilities:

Conduct regular practices and prepare students for academic competitions. Plan and conduct team practices that develop students' knowledge, skills, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities. Attend and conduct academic team matches, competitions, and related events. Communicate competition schedules and expectations with students, families, and school administration. Select and prepare students for various academic team events and competitions. Monitor student participation, progress, and eligibility. Encourage teamwork, sportsmanship, responsibility, and a positive attitude. Coordinate with teachers and administration regarding student needs and competition activities. Ensure students follow school expectations and represent GCMS in a positive manner. Complete other duties related to the Academic Team as assigned.
