A Coach works with individual athletes or with sports teams to develop skills and improve teamwork and competitive performance. Runs practice sessions and physical conditioning programs; assesses the strengths and weaknesses of players; plans strategies for games; motivates and encourage players and teaches good sportsmanship.
The Fiduciary Assistant Coach is an integral part of the Fiduciary Hub supervisory team and supervises one of the teams within the Fiduciary Hub. The incumbent is responsible for ensuring that all field examinations and accounting are processed as expeditiously as possible to assess the competence, adjustment, and personal welfare of beneficiaries and protect a beneficiary's assets from loss or diversion.

TIME-IN-GRADE REQUIREMENT
: As a current Federal, GS employee you must meet time-in-grade requirements by the closing date of this announcement. For a GS-12 position you must have served 52 weeks at the GS-11 level. If you are a current VBA employee requesting reassignment or change to lower grade via this vacancy announcement, you must currently hold the GS- 12 or higher and the promotion potential of your current position must be at least None. The grade may have been in any occupation, but must have been held in the Federal service. An SF-50 that shows your time-in-grade eligibility must be submitted with your application materials. If the most recent SF-50 has an effective date within the past year, it may not clearly demonstrate you possess one-year time-in-grade, as required by the announcement. In this instance, you must provide an additional SF-50 that clearly demonstrates one-year time-in-grade.

Specialized Experience:
Applicants must have One year of Specialized Experience which was equivalent to the GS-11 level. Specialized experience is experience which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. Specialized experience is characterized by an overall knowledge of all VA benefit programs for purposes of interviewing veterans and their representatives, resolving issues, and obtaining required evidence to settle a claim, to include representing and protecting the rights and interests of mentally disabled adult and minor beneficiaries and their families. Or Equivalent combinations of Specialized Experience and Graduate level education. To compute, divide your total months of qualifying experience by 12. Then divide your semester hours of graduate education beyond one year by 18. Add the two percentages. The total percentage must equal at least 100 percent to qualify.
Combining Education & Experience :

Part-Time Employment:
