Immediately Job Description Eastside is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Middle School Boys/Girls Track & Field Coach to lead and develop student-athletes in a positive, safe, and competitive environment. The coach will be responsible for planning and conducting practices, preparing athletes for meets, teaching fundamental track and field skills, and promoting teamwork, sportsmanship, discipline, and personal growth. Essential Responsibilities Plan and conduct organized, age-appropriate practices. Teach fundamental skills and techniques for track and field events, including running, jumping, and throwing events. Develop training programs that accommodate varying skill levels and abilities. Prepare student-athletes for competitions and coordinate meet-day responsibilities. Promote good sportsmanship, teamwork, discipline, and respect. Maintain a safe and positive practice and competition environment. Monitor student-athlete participation, effort, and progress. Communicate effectively with student-athletes, parents/guardians, school staff, and athletic administration. Follow all school, district, athletic association, and safety policies. Ensure proper supervision of student-athletes during practices, meets, and team activities. Help maintain and properly use track and field equipment and facilities. Encourage academic responsibility and positive behavior among student-athletes.
