Minimum Qualifications Education:
High school diploma and completion of KHSAA training or minimum of 64 college credit hours is required. Must be at least 21 years of age.Experience:
Must complete KHSAA and Model Lab School training requirements.Licensure & Certifications:
Preferred Qualifications:
Successful archery experience as a competitor and/or coach. Highly knowledgeable about the rules of the game and experience in working with student athletes.Job Duties:
75%%- -Work with Athletic Director and head coach to schedule practices and games.
- Ensure presence at all schedule archery events.
- Train and practice with student athletes using best practices for archery and in accordance with all KHSAA and other national and state laws and guidelines.
- Serve as a Model representative and liaison when interacting with Model parents and with employees, students, parents and community members of others schools

- -Complete all required training for coaches, including Model orientation and review of the coaches handbook
- Serve as a role model, using appropriate behaviors and coaching techniques for student athletes
- Assist in selection and oversight of assistant coach and ensure proper behaviors are maintained
- Ensure proper maintenance and care of all athletic equipment
- Adhere to student confidentiality policies and procedures
- Follow proper protocol for student travel to competitions

- Learn and communicate with students and parents through the school-approved ROOMS communication system
- Complete other duties as assigned/requested by the Head Coach, Superintendent or Director of Athletics
