RESPONSIBILITIES:

Coaches individual participants in the skills necessary for excellent achievement in the sport involved. Plans and schedules with the Athletic Director a regular program of practice for each season. Assists the Athletic Director in scheduling all intramural and inter-scholastic contests. Recommends purchase of equipment, supplies and uniforms, as appropriate. Maintains necessary attendance forms, insurance records, and similar paperwork as specified by the Athletic Director. Oversees the safety conditions of the facility or area in which assigned sport is conducted at all times that students are officially present. Enforces the established performance criteria for eligibility in inter-scholastic competitions in the assigned sport. Enforces discipline and sportsmanlike behavior at all times and establishes and oversees penalties for breach of such standards by individual pupils. Develops an annual budget request for the sport, in cooperation with the Principal and Athletic Director and administers the annual budget for the sport according to established policies and procedures. Performs other duties consistent with the position assigned by the Principal/Athletic Director.
