In this energetic role, you will lead and develop volleyball teams, foster a positive team environment, and promote teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship. Your passion for coaching and sports will help cultivate a love for volleyball while ensuring safe and engaging practices and competitions. Duties Plan and execute engaging volleyball practices that develop technical skills, teamwork, and game strategies. Lead teams during local or travel competitions, tournaments, and league matches, ensuring fair play and sportsmanship. Monitor athlete progress through regular assessments and provide constructive feedback to support growth. Foster a positive, inclusive environment that encourages respect, discipline, and enthusiasm among players. Collaborate with fellow coaches, and program coordinators to coordinate schedules and communicate team updates. Ensure safety protocols are followed during all activities, including proper equipment use and injury prevention measures. Promote health, fitness, and active lifestyles through coaching techniques rooted in physical education principles. Qualifications Previous experience in sports coaching or teaching physical education is highly desirable. Knowledge of volleyball rules, techniques, and game strategies. Experience working with children or youth in a coaching or childcare setting. Background in sports such as basketball, cheerleading, climbing, or martial arts like karate or judo is a plus. Strong behavior management skills to motivate athletes while maintaining discipline. Familiarity with health club or gym environments is advantageous. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with players, parents, and team staff. This role is perfect for energetic individuals passionate about youth development through sports!
