Job Description
Job Overview Shoot 360 Shreveport-Bossier City is seeking energetic, passionate, and motivated Skill Development Coaches to join our growing team. This position is responsible for delivering an exceptional training experience by assisting athletes with skill development, operating Shoot 360's innovative training technology, conducting Official Recruiting Visits, providing outstanding customer service, and supporting membership growth and retention. Skill Development Coaches play a vital role in creating an engaging environment where athletes can develop confidence, improve their game, and achieve their goals. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys coaching, building relationships, and earning additional income through performance-based incentives. Core Competencies The ideal candidate will: Live the Shoot 360 values and culture Maintain punctual, regular, and dependable attendance Demonstrate enthusiasm, professionalism, and a positive attitude Build strong relationships with athletes, parents, and fellow team members Deliver exceptional customer service with every interaction Work collaboratively in a team environment Communicate effectively with members, guests, and staff Take direction respectfully while maintaining a willingness to learn and grow Display a passion for basketball and athlete development Essential Duties & Responsibilities The Skill Development Coach will: Coach athletes through skill development workouts by connecting, correcting, competing, and challenging them during every session Develop a thorough understanding of Shoot 360 technology and training equipment Conduct Official Recruiting Visits for prospective members and families Explain memberships, programs, and training opportunities to prospective members Assist with membership growth and retention initiatives Answer incoming phone calls and respond to customer inquiries Process memberships, retail purchases, and other point-of-sale transactions Maintain a clean, organized, and professional facility Build positive relationships with athletes, parents, coaches, and teammates Assist with facility events and promotions Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Candidates should possess: Basketball playing and/or coaching experience Strong knowledge of basketball fundamentals Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Passion for coaching and developing athletes Strong customer service skills High School Diploma or GED preferred Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Willingness to learn Shoot 360 training systems and technology Compensation & Benefits Shoot 360 offers a compensation package designed to reward performance.
