Job Description

Salary Range :
$4,000 - $4,600 Working alongside the boys varsity water polo head coach, the assistant coach for varsity water polo responsibilities includes developing individual skills, teamwork and sportsmanship amongst student-athletes. To be considered for this position you must include a cover letter including your philosophy of coaching in an education-based athletic program. Commitment is approximately 20 hours per week (Monday- Saturday) from August 29, 2026 through the second weekend of November. Afternoon practices (3:15 - 5:30 p.m.) and games typically on some Wednesday afternoons as well as most every Saturday, home and away, during the fall season. The strongest applicants will have the following qualifications: Ability to positively motivate, inspire and be role model to high-school aged students. At least 2 years experience coaching water polo in club, high school or college setting, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Water polo experience at high school, college or higher level. Be adaptable and enjoy working alongside the current coaching staff Ability and willingness to manage a Monday-Saturday practice/game schedule which includes travel to away opponents.
