Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Gunite Swimming Pool Construction Supervisor to lead and oversee the successful execution of gunite pool projects from start to finish. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of construction, manage teams on-site, ensure safety compliance, and maintain high standards of quality. Your expertise in construction oversight and ability to interpret technical drawings will drive project efficiency, safety, and client satisfaction. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead dynamic teams and contribute to creating stunning custom pools that exceed expectations. Responsibilities Supervise and help coordinate all phases of gunite swimming pool construction, including excavation, plumbing, steel reinforcement, shotcrete application, and finishing work. Work with project coordinators to direct on-site crews, ensuring tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications. Review construction drawings, schematics, blueprints, and technical schematics to interpret project requirements accurately. Enforce OSHA and federal construction safety regulations; conduct regular safety meetings and inspections to uphold a safe work environment. Oversee quality control measures, ensuring adherence to industry standards, building codes, and client expectations. Collaborate with project coordinators to successfully complete high quality pool projects Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams to keep projects on track and resolve issues promptly. Skills Proven experience supervising high end residential construction projects with a focus on swimming pools or similar structures (pool specific knowledge not required) Strong knowledge of construction regulations including OSHA standards and federal safety protocols. Expertise in interpreting technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and construction plans. Proficiency in microsoft outlook, excel, word, comfortable with using phone applications and CRM systems Skilled in managing teams in a fast-paced construction environment; excellent crew management abilities. Ability to read and review construction drawings accurately; familiarity with schematics for concrete, plumbing and electrical systems. Experience with budgeting, cost estimating, project scheduling, quality control processes and managing contracts. Familiarity with construction site safety practices; ability to enforce safety regulations effectively. Strong managerial communication skills; capable of coordinating multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail. The role is primarily a quality control position that also requires coordinating with the office and helping to maintain and improve crew workmanship to the highest level. $2,000.00 - $2,400.00 per week
