Tahanto Regional Middle School Boys Soccer Coach Reports To:
Athletic Director Work Year Days:

Fall Soccer Season Educational/Training/Experience/License Required:
Must meet district/state coaching certification requirements (e.g., CPR/First Aid, ethics training, background check, concussion training).
Accountability Objective:
Coach is responsible for organizing, teaching, and supervising the MS Boys Soccer program. The coach will promote skill development, teamwork, sportsmanship, and positive experience for all student-athletes, while ensuring the safety and well-being of participants.
Responsibilities:
Plan, organize, and conduct regular practices and games. Teach fundamental soccer skills, strategies, and rules appropriate to middle school athletes. Model and instill values of teamwork, respect, discipline, and good sportsmanship. Supervise athletes at all team-related events, including practices, games, and travel. Communicate effectively with players-in person and digitally through approved communication app and school issued email- parents, athletic director, and school administration. Ensure all players meet eligibility and academic requirements. Maintain inventory of equipment and uniforms; report needs or damages. Promote a positive team culture that supports academic success and personal growth. Follow all district, school, and league policies, including safety and conduct expectations. Support the overall athletic program Pre and post season coaches meeting Participation in end of year athletic banquet
Required Qualifications:
Prior coaching or playing experience in Soccer (middle school) preferred. Knowledge of Soccer fundamentals, rules, and teaching techniques. Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Ability to motivate and connect with middle school students.
