Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate soccer coaching sessions for young children Create a safe, positive, and inclusive environment for all participants Teach fundamental soccer skills including dribbling, passing, and teamwork Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding player progress Travel to local schools, parks, and recreation centers to lead scheduled programs Maintain equipment and ensure all safety protocols are followed during sessions Participate in staff training, development meetings, and curriculum planning
Requirements:
Experience working with young children in a coaching, teaching, or childcare setting Strong soccer knowledge and background as a player or coach Excellent communication, energy, and enthusiasm for youth development Reliable transportation and valid driver's license CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Ability to pass a background check Positive, patient, and encouraging demeanor with children of all skill levels
