Immediately Job Description Essex North Shore Agricultural & Technical School is seeking a new Freshman/JV II Softball Coach for the 2026 spring season. Existing teachers covered by the collective bargaining agreement will be given preference in appointments to stipend positions, except that outside candidates who, in the judgement of the Superintendent-Director or designee, are better qualified than unit candidates may be appointed. Strong candidates must:
  • Bring high school level / college level playing or coaching experience, leadership & communication skills, and a positive attitude on a daily basis.
  • Adhere to and uphold Athletic program standards while following core values and missions to create and foster student-athlete success. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
  • Planning and scheduling regular practice plans / programs
  • Overseeing off-season player development programs
  • Working closely with AD on scheduling & game day logistics (ie. travel) as well as equipment inventory.
  • Supporting and adhering to all School Policies and Expectations.
  • Reporting scores of contests in an appropriate manner.
  • Additional responsibilities as needed.
Coaches should be or plan to become: MIAA Certified Coach CPR / First Aid Certified NFHS Certified (Sport Specific / Concussion) Yearly
