Job Description

Fellsway Wanderers FC is a locally owned holistic "player first" youth soccer club with locations in the Metro North (Lexington/Arlington/Winchester/Medford) and North Shore (Manchester/Beverly) areas of Massachusetts. Founded in 2020, Fellsway Wanderers aims to instill passion for the game of soccer while maximizing the potential of all of our players. Thru the game of soccer, we hope to provide our players with the tools needed to be successful in whatever they choose to pursue both on and off the field. All players are met where they are so they can feel successful from the start and grow at their own pace. We are a development focused club who puts a large emphasis on the "whole player". Through our club philosophy, style and provided curriculum, we are providing a soccer experience that detours from the run of the mill, large conglomerate club and we are looking for like minded coaches to join our growing team! Hires would need some knowledge, and passion for the game of soccer, but we do not require years of coaching experience. We are looking for coaches that are self-sufficient, willing to learn and adapt. Flexibility will be an essential quality for hires to have as we train in several different locations. This job would be on some weeknights (6PM) Fall/Winter/Spring and almost all weekends in the fall and spring. It would be for the Metro North area (Medford/Winchester). Coaches would be working with a range of age groups from U9-U14. Coaches would need to be available Tuesday and Thursday evenings 6-7:30PM in Manchester/Beverly. Fall season is late August through mid November. We run a year round program so there are opportunities in Winter/Spring as well.
Responsibilities:
1. Assist Head Coaches in setting up of sessions 2. Help set up equipment before sessions and breakdown after sessions 3. Assist coaches in the running of sessions/ cover when Head Coach is out
