Locations:
Hingham, Norwell, and Norwood 3:15- 4:15 PM Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday Responsibilities Instruct a one hour cheer class for elementary students at private schools in Hingham, Norwell, and Norwood, MA Design and choreograph engaging cheer routines that align with team goals and competitions Coach team members on cheerleading techniques, stunts, jumps, tumbling, and dance moves Foster a positive team environment by encouraging teamwork, sportsmanship, and confidence Monitor safety during practices and performances, ensuring proper use of equipment and spotting techniques Promote sportsmanship and good behavior among team members while managing behavioral issues professionally Skills Experience working with children or youth in a coaching or childcare setting Proven experience in cheerleading coaching or related sports coaching experience Strong knowledge of cheerleading techniques, stunts, tumbling, dance routines, and choreography Excellent communication skills to motivate athletes and collaborate with parents and staff Familiarity with safety procedures including AED operation and first aid/CPR certification Background in sports-specific training instruction such as soccer coaching or basketball coaching is a plus Experience with behavior management strategies to support positive team dynamics Knowledge of health club or gym environments is advantageous for equipment use and safety
