Job Description

Overview:
Elevate Personal Training distinguishes itself from conventional gyms by offering a personalized, premium one-on-one wellness experience. Our Personal Trainers cultivate a welcoming environment within our individualized training rooms, empowering clients to reclaim their health and enhance their energy levels to engage in the activities they enjoy.
Benefits:
Full-time Personal Trainers can earn between $60,000 and $70,000 annually. There are no direct sales or marketing responsibilities. No split shifts are required. Continuing education is compensated. Paid time off is available. Bonuses and incentives are awarded based on Key Performance Indicators. Personal Trainers are classified as employees rather than independent contractors. 50 % paid Medical benefits are provided. 3% match toward retirement plan.
Responsibilities:
Develop safe and effective training programs tailored to the unique needs and goals of clients. Educate and empower clients to promote their commitment to their fitness plans. Maintain a positive attitude and express regular appreciation to clients daily. Create distinctive, memorable client experiences that encourage long-term loyalty to the Hopkinton community. Develop a culture of teamwork and collaboration. Ensure the training environment is clean and consistently adheres to safety standards to prevent accidents. Professionally present yourself through appropriate appearance, language, and behavior.
Qualifications:
A minimum of a bachelor's degree in Exercise Science or a related field is preferred. A national certification is required (e.g., CSCS, CFSC, NSCA, NASM, or ACSM). At least one year of experience in personal training and program design is necessary. A comprehensive understanding of injury prevention and management is essential. Experience and success in working with special populations are important. Certification in CPR/AED and First Aid is required. Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills are crucial.
