In this dynamic role, you will deliver engaging swimming lessons that promote safety, technique, and enjoyment. Responsibilities Lead swimming lessons for diverse age groups, focusing on safety, technique, and enjoyment. Develop customized lesson plans that cater to individual skill levels and learning styles. Ensure all participants follow safety protocols and demonstrate proper water safety practices. Provide clear instruction on swimming strokes, breathing techniques, and water survival skills. Monitor student progress and offer constructive feedback to encourage improvement. Maintain a safe environment by supervising all activities and responding promptly to emergencies. Foster a fun, inclusive atmosphere that motivates students to achieve their aquatic goals. Qualifications Prior experience as a lifeguard or in sports coaching is highly desirable. Strong background in swimming, martial arts (such as Karate or Judo), or other physical activities like climbing or cheerleading. Experience working with children or in childcare settings is preferred. Knowledge of behavior management techniques to support student engagement and safety. Certification in lifeguarding or water safety instruction is a plus; willingness to obtain necessary certifications if not already held. Ability to communicate effectively with students of varying ages and skill levels. Passion for teaching physical education and promoting healthy, active lifestyles.
