Job Description

Job Summary We're looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and energetic Soccer Coaches who enjoy working with young children (ages 3-12) and have a passion for youth sports, fitness, and child development. As a Youth Soccer Coach , you'll lead 1-hour classes at elementary schools across Howard County, delivering fun, engaging, and structured soccer lessons that promote movement, teamwork, and confidence. This is a part-time position with consistent weekday afternoon programming running daily between 3:30 PM and 6:00 PM . Coaches should have availability during this timeframe, as shifts are available each day of the week . Optional weekend morning shifts may also be available. All programs are run in 8-week sessions during the Fall, Winter, and Spring seasons, with opportunities for continued coaching year-round. Responsibilities Lead high-energy, beginner-friendly soccer classes using a pre-planned curriculum Teach age-appropriate soccer fundamentals: dribbling, passing, shooting, defense, and teamwork Work with children ages 3-12 in small group settings to promote skill development and fun Travel to multiple elementary school sites within Howard County (typically within a 30-minute drive) Set up and break down equipment before and after each class Create a safe, inclusive, and encouraging environment for all players Communicate clearly and professionally with parents, site staff, and internal teams Represent the brand in a friendly, enthusiastic, and dependable manner Skills & Qualifications Experience working with children (teaching, coaching, camps, childcare, etc.) preferred Background in soccer (playing, coaching, or instructing) strongly preferred Must be available weekday afternoons between 3:30 PM and 6:00 PM Outgoing, energetic personality with strong classroom/group management skills Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license Able to lift/carry up to 30 lbs of sports equipment CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain) preferred Must pass a background check Why Join Us?
