As a Youth Tee Ball/Baseball Coach , you'll lead 1-hour classes at elementary schools across Howard County, delivering fun, engaging, and structured sessions that teach the fundamentals of the game while promoting confidence, coordination, and teamwork. This is a part-time position with weekday afternoon and early evening programming. All programs are run in 8-week sessions during the Fall, Winter, and Spring seasons, with opportunities for continued coaching year-round.

4:00 PM•7:00 PM Additional opportunities may become available. Coaches who perform well may continue into future sessions or expand into other sports programs. Responsibilities Lead high-energy, beginner-friendly Tee Ball/Baseball classes using a pre-planned curriculum Teach age-appropriate fundamentals: throwing, catching, hitting, base running, and basic game play Work with children ages 3-12 in small group settings to promote skill development and fun Travel to elementary school sites within Howard County (typically within a 30-minute drive) Set up and break down equipment before and after each class Create a safe, inclusive, and encouraging environment for all players Communicate clearly and professionally with parents, site staff, and internal teams Represent the brand in a friendly, enthusiastic, and dependable manner Skills & Qualifications Experience working with children (teaching, coaching, camps, childcare, etc.) preferred Background in baseball, tee ball, or softball (playing or coaching) strongly preferred Must be available for the scheduled weekday afternoon/evening shifts listed above Outgoing, energetic personality with strong classroom/group management skills Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license Able to lift/carry up to 30 lbs of sports equipment CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain) preferred Must pass a background check Why Join Us?
