ASSISTANT WRESTLING COACH

We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Assistant Wrestling Coach to join our coaching staff for the upcoming wrestling season. We are building a competitive wrestling program centered around faith, family, hard work, discipline, and developing young men and women both on and off the mat. What We're Looking For We are seeking someone who: Has a strong knowledge of folkstyle wrestling Has previous wrestling and/or coaching experience Can effectively teach technique to both beginner and experienced wrestlers Brings energy, accountability, and consistency to the wrestling room Communicates well with student-athletes and coaching staff Is dependable and available throughout the wrestling season Is willing to assist with practices, competitions, athlete development, and program building Is interested in helping develop wrestlers during the offseason Understands the importance of being a positive mentor and role model for student-athletes Former collegiate wrestlers and experienced high-school or club coaches are strongly encouraged to apply. Responsibilities The Assistant Wrestling Coach will work closely with the Head Coach to: Teach and reinforce wrestling technique Lead individual and small-group instruction Assist with practice planning and execution Coach athletes during dual meets and tournaments Help develop wrestlers at all experience levels Assist with strength, conditioning, and offseason development Support team culture, accountability, and academic expectations Assist with recruiting and growing the wrestling program Help continue building both our boys' and girls' wrestling programs The Opportunity This is an opportunity to become part of a growing wrestling program and help establish the culture and foundation for its future. We aren't simply looking for someone to stand in the corner during tournaments. We're looking for a coach, teacher, mentor, and teammate who wants to help develop student-athletes and build something special.
