Job Description

Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and personable Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach to work with individuals/groups across multiple backgrounds from youth and college athletes to the general population. This is an entry level position with potential for growth within the company. The candidate must have 1-2 years of Relevant Experience, Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology, a valid CPR Certification, and a valid CSCS certification through the National Strength & Conditioning Association. Experience as a collegiate athlete in Soccer, Lacrosse, and or Volleyball is preferred. Experience in a Collegiate Strength & Conditioning program/internship is preferred.

  • Weekly Pay Duties Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive strength and conditioning programs tailored to the clients' needs across various experience and fitness levels.
Design personalized training plans that incorporate biomechanics, physiology, body mechanics, and sport-specific techniques to optimize performance and reduce injury risk. Stay current with industry trends by continuously updating knowledge in strength training instruction, sports coaching experience, anatomy knowledge, and fitness center best practices. Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement within the organization. Skills Extensive knowledge of biomechanics, physiology, anatomy, and body mechanics to inform effective program design. Strong social skills with the ability to relate to clients' from different backgrounds. Proven experience in strength and conditioning training programs for diverse populations including athletes and general clients. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a collaborative environment. Excellent client communication skills with an emphasis on personalized coaching and customer service excellence. Certifications in first aid, CPR, AED operation along with relevant industry credentials such as strength training instruction or sports coaching experience. Proficiency in gym management software or fitness center operations is preferred.

From $25.00 per hour
