Job Description

Are you energetic, reliable, and passionate about inspiring kids through sports and fitness? Kidokinetics programs are located throughout Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Howard, Montgomery, and Prince Georges Counties. Kidokinetics is looking for an enthusiastic, experienced Part-Time Youth Sports Coach to join our team! We bring fun, non-competitive multi-sport and physical education programs directly to preschools, daycare centers, and local community parks. If you love working with young children and have a background in coaching, education, or athletics, this is a rewarding opportunity with flexible daytime and afternoon hours.
Key Responsibilities Lead Engaging Classes:
Instruct children (ages 18 months to 10 years) in fun, age-appropriate physical education and multi-sport activities using our proven curriculum.
Maintain Safety & Control:
Keep classes structured, high-energy, safe, and organized.
Communicate Effectively:
Interact warmly with kids, parents, and school directors/staff.
Manage Equipment:
Transport, set up, and tear down age-appropriate sports equipment for each session.
Be Reliable:
Arrive on time, fully prepared, and enthusiastic for every scheduled class. Requirements & Qualifications (Strictly Required)
Experience:
Minimum 1 year of experience working with young children in a structured environment (e.g., youth sports coaching, preschool teaching, camp counseling, or physical education).
Transportation:
Valid Driver's License, clean driving record, and reliable personal vehicle to travel between local partner sites.
Background Check:
Must pass a local/state criminal background check and child safety screening.
Certifications:
CPR / First Aid certified (or willing to obtain prior to start).
Personality:
High energy, patient, reliable, and a great communicator.
Schedule & Hours Hours:
10-20 hours per week (Flexible shifts available).
Times:
Primary shifts fall between weekday mornings (8:30 AM - 11:30 AM) and/or after-school afternoons (2:00 PM - 5:00 PM). Optional weekend birthday parties or events as needed. Pay:
