Responsibilities Lead engaging and effective swim lessons tailored to diverse age groups and skill levels, from beginners to advanced swimmers Demonstrate proper swimming techniques, water safety procedures, and emergency response protocols Monitor student progress closely, providing constructive feedback and encouragement to boost confidence and skill development Manage behavior effectively by employing positive behavior management strategies to maintain a respectful and focused learning atmosphere Collaborate with fellow instructors and staff to plan lesson plans, organize aquatic activities, and ensure smooth program operations Qualifications Proven experience as a swim instructor with a strong background in teaching swimming techniques and water safety Lifeguard experience is highly desirable; current certification preferred but not required Demonstrated ability to work effectively with children and students of all ages in a childcare or educational setting Strong understanding of behavior management strategies to foster positive learning environments Join us in creating an energetic atmosphere where learners thrive!
