Swim Instructor

The YWCA is seeking a part-time Swim Instructor for our location in Lewiston, ME. The Swim Instructor plays a significant role in the overall success and safety of YWCA's swim lessons program. The swim instructor position reports to the H&W Director. The position is part-time, 5-25 hours a week.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Teach swim lessons for people from ages 6 months old to adult Has knowledge of basic swim mechanics and experience with small group instruction Excellent client service interpersonal skills Enjoys working with children Prioritized water safety Ability to work independently and effectively as a team member Must be able to ensure compliance with YWCA safety standards, policies and procedures including maintaining the cleanliness of the pool area •
