Job Description

"York High School is seeking a Junior Varsity Volleyball Coach to lead the JV program and support the continued development of student-athletes within a competitive and positive team environment.
Responsibilities:
Lead and organize all JV practices, matches, and team activitiesDevelop fundamental skills, game understanding, and team systems aligned with the varsity programPrepare athletes for progression to the varsity levelFoster a positive, disciplined, and team-oriented cultureCollaborate with the varsity coaching staff to ensure program-wide consistencySupervise and coach at matches, including occasional weekend events
Qualifications:
Volleyball experience (coaching and/or playing background preferred)Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skillsAbility to teach fundamentals and develop athletes at varying skill levelsAvailability for practices and matches throughout the season
CPR/AED/FIRST
AID and required coaching certifications (or willingness to obtain)"
