Activities occur in the community and are supervised by licensed professionals responsible for the development and implementation of the individualized plan of service. Duties and Responsibilities Directly supports youth at building skills to increase or maintain personal self-sufficiency and achievement of goals. Improves skill development related to activities of daily living, safety skills, sensory-motor, communication, socialization, relationship building skills, and participation in leisure and community activities. Reinforces skills or lessons taught in school, therapy or other settings. Participates in case consultation with the youth and family's treatment team. Maintains consistent communication with the youth and family. Maintains record compliance according to agency guidelines and standards as well as funding source regulations. Qualifications and Skills High School Diploma or GED One year of experience in working with youth experiencing a severe emotional disturbance preferred. Qualify for and retain a Summit Pointe driving permit. Must be able to work within a team setting. Demonstrates strong verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrates strong organizational skills. Must support a trauma informed culture of safety to aid customers in their recovery process Maintains record compliance according to agency guidelines and standards as well as funding source regulations.
