QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of three years of baseball coaching experience Must be able to design and implement short term and long term goals for the program Design a daily and weekly practice schedule with specific goals for team and individual development Knowledgeable of the fundamentals with the ability to teach and demonstrate fundamentals to youth through varsity age levels Available for involvement with summer baseball camps and player development Become an active member of the Michigan High School Baseball Coaches Association (MHSBCA) Must model appropriate behavior, promoting at all times the social, emotional, and moral well-being of CPS student-athletes Effectively communicate with players, parents, and administration Must be certified in First Aid and CPR by the start of the 2027 season CAP 1 or CAP 2 by the start of the 2027 season Coach must adhere to Athletic Code for Coaches, as stated in MHSAA Handbook Pass background check
