COACHING VACANCY
Assistant Coach Girls Swim I f hired, the coach will perform his/her duties and responsibilities under the direct supervision of the Athletic Director, in compliance with the policies established by the Crestwood Board of Education and the MHSAA.
Job Responsibilities:
Maintain all requirements as established by the MHSAA Follow all Crestwood School District Policies as applied by the Board of Education Follow all Crestwood School District Administrative Guidelines Maintain a high level of respect, collegiality, and awareness of the needs of all student-athletes and the community Maintain a system of in-season and off-season training and growth programs for student-athletes Maintain a high level of professionalism and demeanor representative of the Crestwood School District Educate, coach, and mentor student-athletes Maintain a system of checks and balances on student-athlete attendance, grades, and demeanor in school Maintain a system of checks and balances on student-athlete representation of the Crestwood School District outside of school activities Support students in the attainment of scholarship opportunities Maintain a system of fundraising to support the growth of the programs Involve student-athletes in community service to their community Develop a competitive program
Qualifications:
Five or more years of coaching experience Positive and supportive demeanor A deep understanding of the community of student-athletes we serve at the Crestwood School District Clear and concise communication skills Understanding of off-season programming Understanding of strength and conditioning Ability to delegate and take constructive feedback Basic knowledge of first aid Good character with the ability to serve as a positive role model to student-athletes Willingness to work cooperatively in all aspects of the interscholastic athletic program
