Varsity Boys Golf Head Coach Qualifications:
Must be a high school graduate; college graduate preferred. Valid certifications (or willingness to obtain) including: CPR/AED and First Aid
MHSAA CAP
(any level) Previous golf participation required; coaching experience preferred. Knowledge and understanding pertaining to sport, strategies, rules, etc. Knowledge and Understanding of Michigan High School Athletic Association (MHSAA) rules and regulations. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with high school student-athletes, parents, and staff. Demonstrated coaching strategies and methods that align with the District's Student-Focused Coaching and Leadership Philosophies.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Manage and supervise athletic activities, contests, and practice sessions for the team you are assigned to, in accordance with the FRCS Athletic Coaching Handbook and District Policies. Maintain a consistent presence and commitment to the program, prioritizing responsibilities to the program throughout the season. Communicate and enforce all school, league, and Michigan High School Athletic Association (MHSAA) rules and regulations. Promote academic achievement, sportsmanship, and personal development among team members. Work collaboratively with the athletic department and coaching staff to ensure a safe and well-organized program. Represent Flat Rock Community Schools in a professional and respectful manner at all practices, meets, and school-related events. Other duties as assigned by the
