Varsity Girls Wrestling Head CoachREQUIREMENTS
Possesses the management skills necessary to supervise students and staff in all levels of the program. Organized, professional, and committed to adhering to the policies and procedures of FHS and the MHSAA. Maintains a focus on player development, leadership, character, and service. Possesses a high degree of knowledge of the skills and abilities required for this sport, and is capable of communicating and demonstrating what is expected to be successful. Models and supports the mission of the athletic program and the school. Handles interactions with student athletes, officials, staff, and opponents and adults with professionalism and integrity. Is able to balance personal and professional duties with coaching duties. Successful high school level coaching experience of at least two years. Current certification in CPR/AED, and working toward CAP certification. Is knowledgeable of proper nutrition and educates athletes about the effects of nutrition on health and physical performance. Oversees the safety conditions of the facility or assigned practice area in which the assigned sport is conducted at all times students are present. Places a high priority on the health and safety of students, while protecting and preserving the facility.PREFERRED EDUCATION AND OR EXPERIENCE
Valid teaching certificate or a degreed program in education or coaching. Experience in physical education, first aid, and sports medicine. Certificate in CAP (Coaches Advancement Program) or equivalent. Varsity level coaching experience in this sport.DATE OF POSTING
