Responsibilities:
Attend all-athletic department staff meetings; Verify physicals/clearance forms before allowing any athlete to participate in tryouts, practice, or competition; Collaboratively work with the girls head track coach to oversee the total program; Coordinate with Athletic Director for all "new Howell Public Schools" students to make sure the MHSAA transfer form has been completed and the athlete is eligible to compete; Submit rosters immediately once practice begins so eligibility can be determined. Report results of competitions to athletic office Contact Athletic Office for purchase order # before ordering or picking up any items; Learn and abide by all MHSAA and HPS policies; Review weekly Athletic facility report to verify accuracy; Work with athletic office to submit transportation requests in FMX in a timely manner Schedule facilities with the Athletic Director; Meet with Athletic Director at the conclusion of season to evaluate/review/sign evaluation; Collaborate with varsity coaches to ensure vertical alignment of programs Obtain obtain necessary medical certifications (CPR, AED, First Aid, etc) as required by HPS or governing bodies Complete end of season summary for athletic office Must submit the following to the
Athletic Director:
Tentative roster for GPA checks upon completion of tryouts; Team schedule (tryout, practice and event); Participation fee expected for each team member (if applicable); End of Season Check Out electronically.
OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED.
