Continuous Roles Northwood University (NCAA Division II, located in Midland, MI) is looking for a full-time Assistant Men's and Women's Track & Field Coach (Throws). The positions would be responsible for technical and weight room training for the throwing events. Must be able to work effectively with current coaching staff. Responsibilities The Assistant Men's and Women's Track & Field Coach (Throws) is responsible for assisting the Head Track and Field/Cross Country Coach with all facets of conducting successful men's and women's track and field programs. Duties include but are not limited to: coaching of events during practice and competition for men's and women's programs, recruiting, and other duties as assigned by the Head Coach. Qualifications This individual must be knowledgeable of and in compliance with all NCAA, conference, and university rules and regulations, and must display professional integrity. Effective communication with staff and student-athletes is imperative. Expectations Northwood University on-campus facilities include: indoor 225m track and turf facility, new outdoor track and field complex (with turf football field), outdoor throwing facility, intercollegiate weight room (with 24 racks) and dedicated cross country course with 4-5 miles of trails. Position involves travel, working weekends, and working hours outside of a normal work week.
