A Coach works with individual athletes or with sports teams to develop skills and improve teamwork and competitive performance. Runs practice sessions and physical conditioning programs; assesses the strengths and weaknesses of players; plans strategies for games; motivates and encourage players and teaches good sportsmanship.
Continuous Roles Northwood University is currently seeking applications for the part-time position of Men's and Women's Track and Field/Cross Country Assistant Coach. Responsibilities The coach will coordinate all activities related to running the program including: recruiting practices games scheduling budget management, etc. Will work closely with the coaching staff and especially the cross country, sprints, jumps and multis student athletes. Qualifications Bachelor's degree preferred.
