Job Description
Position is seasonal; depending on applicant status position may be hired through a third party vendor High school diploma required; degree preferred Experience playing and/or coaching basketball; strong knowledge of rules, fundamentals, and strategy Ability to lead, motivate, and mentor middle school student-athletes (ages 11-14) Strong communication, organization, and team-building skills; able to work with students, parents, and staff Experience planning and running practices, drills, and games; understanding of age-appropriate training CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) and background check clearance Availability for after-school practices, games, and occasional weekends; adherence to school and athletic policies
