Immediately Job Description Position is seasonal; depending on applicant status position may be hired through a third party vendor Previous volleyball coaching and/or playing experience preferred Knowledge of volleyball fundamentals, rules, techniques, and game strategy Ability to teach and develop student-athletes at the freshman level Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills Ability to work collaboratively with varsity and junior varsity coaching staff Commitment to sportsmanship, teamwork, and student development Ability to supervise and motivate high school student-athletes CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Completion of required state athletic coaching certifications and background checks Experience working with adolescents in an educational or athletic setting preferred Ability to maintain positive relationships with students, parents, staff, and officials
