Job Description
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of high school diploma
- Demonstrate knowledge of football and the ability to teach football skills
- Prior coaching experience (football preferred)
- Demonstrate strong leadership, communication/inter-personal skills with students, staff, and parents
- Criminal background check including fingerprinting required
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide positive leadership of young people
- Responsible for the pre and post-season equipment distribution, collection and inventory
- Be on time for supervision of practices and games. Coaches are expected to ride the bus to away matches.
- Prepare daily practice plans to keep team members engaged and on task
- Work with program coaches to develop continuity in skill development and sport specific formations
- Help assist with program fundraising and other athletic department activities (concessions, other sporting events, etc)
- Maintain updated First Aid and CPR certification
- Complete MHSAA required meetings (Rules/Health and Safety)
- Attend local Pre and Post season coaches' meeting with
