Our faculty work in a collaborative, supportive environment where educators are empowered to inspire curiosity, creativity, and a love of learning. We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic High School JV Boys Basketball Coach to lead and develop our student-athletes during the November-February basketball season. The ideal candidate will be passionate about basketball, committed to student development, and able to create a positive, competitive, and team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities :
Plan and conduct practices focused on skill development, teamwork, conditioning, and game preparation. Coach JV games and provide positive leadership from the sidelines. Teach basketball fundamentals, strategy, sportsmanship, and teamwork. Develop players' skills while supporting their academic and personal growth. Communicate effectively with student-athletes, families, school staff, and the varsity coaching staff. Maintain a safe, respectful, and positive team environment. Assist with team organization, equipment, and other basketball-related responsibilities as needed. Support the overall goals and philosophy of the school's athletic program. Qualifications Previous basketball playing and/or coaching experience preferred. Strong knowledge of basketball fundamentals and game strategy. Ability to work effectively with high school student-athletes. Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Commitment to sportsmanship, character development, and student success. Ability to meet the time and scheduling demands of the basketball season. Compensation A $1,500 stipend will be provided for the November-February season. g9GTSYrRcA
