Based on previous coaching experience

Athletic Director

QUALIFICATIONS

College graduate and significant experience working with youth preferred. Prior successful experience preferred. Ability to motivate students towards team goals. Ability to work within the confines of the budget. Ability to successfully communicate with parents and community members. Ability to distribute and collect all school uniforms, equipment and other school property in an organized manner. Knowledge of the rules and regulations of Michigan High School Athletic Association as to competitions, eligibility, training and participation. Proven ability to work with all other coaches. All other duties as required to fulfill the job description of the position.

JOB DUTIES

1. Responsible for assisting the Varsity Football Coach and Football program. 2. Responsible for the conduct of student-athletes at practice and games. 3. Assists the athletic director in scheduling, budget, uniform inventory, and volunteer workers at events. 4. Planning and organizing of facilities for home games and tournaments. 5. Assumes responsibility for communicating with the press and league. 6. Displays tact, courtesy, and good sportsmanship with students, parents, and community. 7. Inspire a passion for the game at all levels.
