Qualifications:

• Successful track & field coaching experience preferred
• Knowledge and ability to teach track & field techniques and strategies
• Proven ability to enhance skill development in athletes
• Must possess the ability to represent the Wayland Union District in a positive manner and implement MHSAA rules and policies of the Wayland Union Board of Education
• Must possess knowledge of basic first aid

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Coach the team for competition, by supporting technique and promoting team building
• Represent the Wayland Union District in a positive and professional manner when dealing with opponents, officials, players, parents and spectators
• Work with Varsity Coach to schedule practices and events
• Organize, motivate, and supervise athletes
• Communicate effectively with parents, staff and students

Terms of Employment:
