Part-Time House Cleaner / Household Assistant Wayland, MI $40/hr Paid Weekly Every Friday 5-6 hour shift, once per week (flexible scheduling) Careology is looking for a reliable, detail-oriented House Cleaner / Household Assistant to help maintain a private residence. We are seeking someone professional, trustworthy, discreet, and experienced in residential cleaning. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in creating clean, organized, welcoming spaces and is comfortable working independently.

Responsibilities:

Deep cleaning and routine household cleaning Laundry washing, folding, and putting clothing away Light household organization and tidying Maintaining a clean and orderly environment Working respectfully and discreetly within the home Perform thorough residential cleaning, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitization to ensure a spotless environment Handle laundry duties such as washing, folding, and organizing clothing and linens with care and precision Maintain floor care routines including carpet cleaning, sweeping, mopping, and polishing to preserve flooring quality Ensure proper sanitation of bathrooms, kitchens, and other high-touch areas to promote a healthy living space Manage household organization tasks such as tidying up rooms, organizing supplies, and maintaining storage areas Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with household members to meet their needs and preferences

Requirements:

Previous residential cleaning experience required Prior janitorial or custodial experience in residential or commercial settings is highly desirable Experience in hotel housekeeping or housekeeper management provides valuable skills for this role Familiarity with cleaning techniques for carpets, floors, and upholstery using appropriate equipment and products Knowledge of sanitation standards and safety procedures related to household cleaning and food preparation Previous work involving laundry services or household chores demonstrates reliability and attention to detail Must be dependable, trustworthy, and detail-oriented Must pass a background check Must provide 3 positive references Must be comfortable around cats Must have some of your own cleaning tools/equipment (cleaning sprays, towels, and additional supplies will be provided) Strong organization skills preferred

Schedule:
