Job Description

Qualifications:
Successful football coaching experience at the middle school level preferred Strong knowledge of football rules, techniques, and strategies Ability to motivate and inspire players Basic first aid, CPR, and concussion training required Effective communication and leadership skills
Responsibilities & Duties:
Develop and implement an effective training program for the team Teach and enforce proper techniques and safety measures Plan and conduct team practices and games Evaluate player performance and provide feedback Foster a positive team environment and encourage sportsmanship Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and students Represent Wayland Union School district in a positive manner when dealing with opponents, players, parents, and spectators Complete inventory, in a timely fashion at the end of the season, to ensure all equipment is accounted for and returned.
