A Coach works with individual athletes or with sports teams to develop skills and improve teamwork and competitive performance. Runs practice sessions and physical conditioning programs; assesses the strengths and weaknesses of players; plans strategies for games; motivates and encourage players and teaches good sportsmanship.

Duties:
Serve as assistant coach for the Centennial High School Boys' Swim and Dive program. This may include, but not limited to setting up practices, meets, and schedules for the program; supervision of athletes at practices and meets; care and maintenance of program equipment; arranging team transportation; working with booster club and regular meetings with other coaches to evaluate goals of the overall program. Must be able to adjust work schedule for practices and competitions.
Preferences:
A BA/BS Degree and MN Teacher License with coaching certificate highly preferred.
Qualifications:
A strong background in youth, high school, college, or club swimming as a participant and/or coach is required. Strong work ethic and dedication to furthering the benefits of participation in co-curricular activities. Leadership skills including but not limited to organization, vision, motivation, and conflict resolution. Ability to work with student athletes, parents, staff, and community.
