2-3 hours/day, 5-6 days/week
Stipend:
$4,614 plus Years of Experience Pay if applicable.
Qualifications:
Candidate will have played, competed in, or coached the sport or activity at the high school or college level. Candidates will also complete all Northfield and MSHSL professional development requirements. Candidate will pass a criminal background check. Head Coaches must have or be able to obtain a Head Coaching License or appropriate certification.

Responsibilities:
Accountable to: Head Coach, Activities Director and Principal.
Primary Objective:
To assist the head coach in selection, instruction, training, and conditioning of all athletes/teams assigned to him/her by the head coach. Northfield Schools, the Principal and Athletics/Activities Director places an expectation not only on the skills, abilities and commitments of its coaches, but also on their integrity and collective common sense in performing their duties. To demonstrate and generate among your staff players an attitude of good sportsmanship and fair play by adhering to the Coach's Code of Ethics. To know and administer the policies, procedures, and guidelines set forth in the Coaches' Handbook, Conference, and policies for your sport and supervise assistant coaches in carrying out the same as they apply to your assignment. To carry out responsibilities as designated by the head coach. To provide for the health, safety, and well-being of team members. To actively work to create a culture free from hazing and initiations. To adhere to the starting and ending dates for your sport.
