Responsibilities Plan and execute engaging volleyball practices that emphasize skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Lead team games and competitions with enthusiasm, ensuring all participants enjoy a positive experience. Provide clear coaching instructions, feedback, and encouragement tailored to players' ages and skill levels. Foster a safe environment by monitoring player behavior and implementing effective behavior management strategies. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding team progress, schedules, and upcoming events. Promote sportsmanship, teamwork, and healthy competition among all team members. Maintain equipment, ensure proper use of sports gear, and uphold facility safety standards. Requirements Prior experience coaching volleyball or other team sports is highly preferred. Strong communication skills to effectively motivate and instruct young athletes. Experience working with children or youth in a coaching or teaching capacity. Knowledge of sports-specific training techniques and team leadership principles. Certifications in First Aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain upon hiring). Ability to operate AED devices in emergency situations. Background in physical education, sports coaching, or related fields is advantageous.
