Fall Season Position Overview Math and Science Academy (MSA) in Woodbury is seeking a motivated C-Team Volleyball Head Coach for the high school program. Polar Athletic Group is under contract with MSA to provide Athletic Administration services and is leading the recruitment search for this position. The C-Team Coach will work closely with the varsity coaching staff to build a cohesive high school program, focusing on refined skill execution, competitive game strategy, and preparing athletes for upper-level high school competition. Key Responsibilities Organize and conduct daily practices aligned with the overall high school program's philosophy. Coach C-Team matches, managing player rotation, in-game adjustments, and team strategy. Reinforce advanced volleyball fundamentals (system offense/defense, transition play, service reception). Serve as a positive role model, fostering sportsmanship, academic effort, and strong team culture. Maintain ongoing communication with parents, student-athletes, and Polar Athletic Group administration. Adhere to all school, conference, and state association guidelines. Qualifications & Hiring Requirements Prior coaching or playing experience at the high school, club, or collegiate level preferred. Strong understanding of volleyball systems, skill progression, and athlete development. Effective communication, organizational, and leadership abilities.
Compliance Requirement:
The final candidate must successfully complete all Minnesota State High School League (MSHSL) policy and procedure requirements (including background checks, rules meetings, and safety training modules) to finalize the hire.
Pay:
$1,260.00 per year
