Teaching Full Job Description Season Dates:
Early September - End of October Position Overview Math and Science Academy (MSA) in Woodbury is seeking an enthusiastic Middle School Boys Soccer Head Coach for the upcoming fall season. Polar Athletic Group is under contract with MSA to provide Athletic Administration services and is leading the recruitment process for this position. The Head Coach will lead the middle school boys soccer program, focusing on fundamental skill development, teamwork, sportsmanship, and fostering a positive student-athlete experience. Key Responsibilities Plan and execute daily practices (typically held after school Monday-Friday). Manage game-day operations, including team warm-ups, player rotation, and sideline coaching. Teach foundational soccer skills, tactics, and team strategies tailored to middle school athletes. Maintain clear, proactive communication with parents, student-athletes, and Polar Athletic Group administration. Promote good sportsmanship, academic accountability, and character development on and off the field. Ensure student safety during all practices, games, and team events. Qualifications Prior coaching or playing experience in soccer (middle school, high school, or club level preferred). Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to pass a standard background check upon hire. CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain prior to the start of the season).
