Description:
The assistant coach is responsible for assisting with planning, managing and directing the high school boys Wrestling team program. Specific shall include, but are not limited to the following tasks: Assistant Coaching the boys Wrestling team. Assist with managing all aspects of the program including practicing, competing, providing off-season improvement opportunities to include strength and conditioning and full usage of contact days Marketing and promoting the boys Wrestling program Assistant Coaching, guiding, and providing feedback to student athletes Scouting opponents Assist with managing a fiscally sound budget Assist with monitoring class schedules, grades and student-athlete academic progress, and intervening where appropriate. Responsible for boys Wrestling student-athlete retention Articulation with the feeder middle school program Providing summer camp opportunities for elementary and/or middle school students
