To Be Determined Job Description The Macon R-1 School District is seeking applicants for an opening of MS Assistant Softball Coach for the 2026-2027 school year to help our student-athletes become well-rounded individuals by achieving an appreciation for the values of discipline, character and sportsmanship along with an increased level of self-esteem. Candidates must have or be able to attain a minimum of an appropriate Missouri Substitute Teaching Certificate.

Qualifications:

Must possess effective coaching techniques and skills. Must possess a thorough knowledge of the rules, regulations, strategies, and techniques of the sport. Must possess the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with school administrators, parents, and students.
