Department Athletics Opening Date 04/01/2026 DESCRIPTION BENEFITS The Assistant Baseball Coach will assist the Head Baseball coach in all facets of the program including assisting with coaching and recruiting, academic monitoring/advising, and other duties as assigned. This is a full-time, exempt position (10-month contract) covered by the Public Education Employee Retirement System of Missouri (PEERS) and social security. Review of applications will begin immediately. Qualifications A Bachelor's degree is rmended, playing and coaching experience is preferred. Valid driver's license required. Stronganizational and leadership skills. Ability to follow directions and initiative to follow through on assignments. Great interpersonal and verbal skills. Job Responsibilities The duties of the Assistant Baseball Coach are as follows: Perform duties as assigned by the Head Baseball Coach on and off the field Assist head coach with practice planning,anizing practice, and preparing for games; Attend regular baseball practices; Assist with field/athletic facilities maintenance and game day preparation; Assist in develop training programs and strength training programs; Must be able to throw batting practice; Assist with recruiting players for purposes of attending college and playing baseball; Assist with monitoring academics progress and oversee study halls when requested; Participate in team fundraising,munity service, and regular events; Ad to policies and regulations as outlined in Policy Handbook; Obtain a CDL driver's license as needed; Work closely with the athletic trainer to ensure player health and safety; Maintain a thorough knowledge of rules and regulations for MACC, NJCAA, MCCAA, and Region 16; Assists with other duties/projects as assigned within the Student Affairs Department.
