A Coach works with individual athletes or with sports teams to develop skills and improve teamwork and competitive performance. Runs practice sessions and physical conditioning programs; assesses the strengths and weaknesses of players; plans strategies for games; motivates and encourage players and teaches good sportsmanship.

To become part of this team, you need: Seek growth as a coach/advisor by attending camps, clinics and pursuinf other opportunities to learn current trends and teaching techniques in the activity. Ability to work with kids and promote a positive environment. Recommended completion of First Aid/CPR Certification Complete and maintain MHSA Coaches Certification Program Complete and understand the HPS Student and Activity Handbook.
